And the winner is....

Ok, the Amazing Race is over!!!!!!!!!! And like a jerk, I could sit here and say who won, but I won't, ok it was those one two people that were in it. Yeah! Now I can focus all my energy on Survivor.....I watch too much t.v. but what other thing is there for me to do with my time that doesn't require too reading? Not that I can't read or anything, just that after a long day at work, it's just not what I want to do.

About reality t.v. though, is anyone else tired of it... I mean Ashton has his Punk'd show, and now he's gonna have some Beauty and the Geek show? What's up with that? And Tommy Hilfiger is gonna have an Apprentice rip off show where he finds a new employee... It's good to rip off stuff that's faltering, I mean RE-he-heely.....

How can you say your tired when you watch it? Reality shows are total shite. If it doesn't stop it will kill the written show. And the written show is much better. Take a break and watch HBO as Deadwood is the best American show in the past five years.

I don't watch all reality T.V., just some. It won't kill the written show, and it's not a new fad. Technically, shows like Survivor and Amazing Race aren't reality, they are game shows.

    1. They aren't real, once you put in a camera and tell people it's there, whether they mean to or not, they put on a front for the camera so as not to portrayed as a complete ass.

    2. There is a prize at the end. If it was just a bunch of people sitting around a house with no structure, no point, then it's not but if you win a bunch of prizes at the end, it is a game show. Besides, in Survivor, in the end there can be only one.

As far as so called reality t.v. the only ones that I truly watch regularly are the two shows listed above.

Okay they are reality shows. Under the guidelines ant show not scripted featuring real characters and are featured in real situations. I know they have games but most of the time its about them bickering about bullshit and how are we going to eat are listed as reality shows. You may not consider it as such but they are. My question is if reality sucks why would someone watch a reality show.

It's a question of terms, by your definition here, any game show would also be a reality show. But they aren't real.
Reality only sucks if you let it. One could say, for these people, their reality sucks, cause they are stuck on an island in the wilderness somewhere forced to survive, and strategize against each other, (kind of sounds like a game on a tremendous scale, hmmmm....) a person might find some entertainment in watching the suffering of others...

I tend not to live by the terms of society and define things on my own terms how it works for me, maybe in a more literal sense. I don't let The networks decide what I watch is classified as, they can call it what they want, I'll call it what I want.

Maybe I should have said I am tired of the stupid dating shows which they call reality telivision which still isn't.

Besides, I can't watch Deadwood, I don't have HBO. That's not a complaint, I probably wouldn't watch it anyway. I have been to Deadwood though, It's fabulous, you should go if you haven't been already.

Than by your judgement all of life is really a game hmmm...but really in the end who gives a fuck and just the fact that you wouldn't watch Deadwood is probably a good indication we have different taste my taste good yours bad, don't go getting girly its just a fucking opinion

You dweebs! The best reality show is the Running Man. How can you deny this? The first episode had Arnold in it! What more do you want!?

Nixon, your taste is different from mine, and Deadwood is a show more for guys than for girls. So I'm not likely to watch it then. Or maybe I wouldn't watch it because my dad is. Now look who's getting personal, I never attacked you.

As far as life being a game, I don't think this at all. Especially since I said that I don't think these shows termed reality are true reality, but games, thus not life. Then life is not a game.

Joe- Yeah the Running Man was great, but again, not reality, but a game show....By far the best though.

The Running Man is not a game show! It is unscripted and unrehearsed DRAMA! Get your facts straight!

Also, Series 7 is a great reality show!

You know one of the greatest overlooked reality shows is My Little Eye!

All books are based on fact. That means that they were the first reality shows.
